Congratulations to Rockland Wolves junior Ben Johnston for being named to the All State eighth team for Class C in basketball.
Ben led the team with 18.3 points per game as well as three-point field goals made with 40. He also helped the team in free throw percentage, as he shot 80 percent. He has 875 career points. He was also selected to the OCiAA and the BCANY first team All-Stars.
"Ben is a coach’s dream," Coach Charlie Hick said. "He shows up everyday and puts in the work and then some. He never complains and has a cool, calm confidence that is just infectious. His internal drive is unrivaled with a killer instinct to match.
"He deserves every accolade he receives," Mr. Hicks added, "and I look forward to what next year brings!"
