The Rockland Teachers' Association will host "Coffee, Cookies & Conversation" at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 6. The event will give residents the opportunity to meet the candidates running for the school board. 
The event will take place in the Middle/High School old gym at 19 School St. in Livingston Manor.

Cookies will be baked by the Rockland FCCLA Club.
The seats currently held by Nicole Park, Chris Tuleweit and Tom Ward will be up for election this year.
On candidates on the ballot for election on May 19, in alphabetical order by last name, are Melissa Hess, Ashley Hoag-Irwin, Amy LeRoy, Alys Mann, Nicole Park, Kim Sheldon, Jill Smith, Chris Tuleweit and Tom Ward.
The top three vote-getters will serve three-year terms running July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2029.
