Meal Prices & Payment
Rockland CSD will provide breakfast and lunch to all students at no cost through the 2025-26 school year. All students are eligible to receive one free breakfast and one free lunch at school daily.
No application is required to participate; however, families are encouraged to complete the Household Income Eligibility Form on LINQ Connect. The data gathered from this form allows the district to receive additional state and federal funding and can qualify students for additional benefits. The information gathered on the Household Income Eligibility Form is confidential.
A la carte items such as snacks and extra lunches are available for purchase and charged at the price set forth by the school cafeteria. Parents can add funds to their child’s LINQ Connect account online.
Meal Charge & Prohibition Against Meal Shaming
Although payment for school meals is typically due at the time of the sale (through a prepaid balance, cash or some other means), the Rockland Central School District recognizes that at times, students are unable to make this payment for a variety of reasons. The district has established a school meal charge policy to provide clear information about how these situations will be handled, including steps designed to avoid any embarrassment of children.

Meal Modifications
While a variety of food choices are made available to all students, parents and guardians may also request meal modifications if the available options do not meet their child’s dietary needs. To request a meal modification, please contact Food Service Director Stephen Rogers.
