Superintendent Search
On June 29, 2026, the Rockland Central School District Board of Education appointed Student Services Director Lauren Nielsen to serve as interim superintendent as the superintendent search continues. She replaces Keith Lewis, who served through the end of the 2025-26 school year.
The search for the next Rockland Central School District superintendent is under way.
To assist the district in the search, the district asked members of the community to take a short, survey. The input will be compiled and shared with the district.
Additionally, application information for the position is available on the website of the New York State Leadership Group, which is assisting the district in the search.
